The following is what you can expect when purchasing a homesite in Duck Haven Estates:
Once you have chosen a homesite that interests you, contact one of our sales reps to submit a reservation request. If you are not comfortable with the real estate buying process, we recommend working with a qualified real estate professional or attorney.
Once you and the Duck Haven Estates developer agree on the terms of purchase, your sales rep will provide you with the contract documents for your review and will be available to answer any questions about the contract before you sign.
Once the contract is fully executed, your sales rep will submit all documents to a title company of your choice to prepare for closing. Most closings occur within 30 to 60 days of the execution of the purchase contract, but special circumstances may warrant a shorter or longer window—your sales rep can help.
Once the purchase contract is on record with your title company, your sales rep will help you with any questions you have specific to your closing needs, such as lender requirements.
After your homesite is under contract, your sales rep will introduce you to the Duck Haven Estates HOA, which can then help you with any questions you may have regarding deed restrictions, the home design approval process, or other general HOA-related items. If you have any questions about the HOA before your homesite is under contract, your sales rep will be happy to help.
